Payrate- $36.00

• Operating large forklift to lift and manoeuvre buildings for transport or relocation within the site
  
• General forklift and yard hand duties as required
  
• Prepare buildings for transport
  
• Install tarping to weatherproof buildings for transport
  
• General elevated work platform duties as required
  
• Conduct daily pre-starts on equipment and machinery, keeping records maintained and arranging any necessary repairs or maintenance schedules.
  
• Liaise with transport companies and their drivers in our yards and ensure that all paperwork is done correctly and passed on to the appropriate departments.
  
• Packing of materials and equipment for transport
  
• Preparing sites for building homes – clean area
  
• Lay out footings and assist in preparation
  
• Collating materials for use onsite by production teams
  
• Collation and preparation of materials for despatch to offsite destination
  
• Return of materials to stock
  
• Emptying bins on production lines daily to minimize disruption to production
  
• Housekeeping and general yard duties including packing remove strapping, packing and rubbish, excess gluts and other materials to maintain yard/work areas
  
• Assisting in Stores when required, including receipt of materials from suppliers i.e. unload materials, check off against delivery docket, mark up items to correct job number, allocate to holding area within Stores yard, customer Service (eg queries from contractors, yard staff, suppliers/delivery drivers)
  
• Any other reasonable task as directed by the business
